Sierra Nevada Ruthless Rye IPA.
Delicious.

Robert Johnson’s Hellhound On My Ale by Dogfish Head.
A double IPA brewed with lemon? Okay.
Not quite as hoppy as one would expect from a DOUBLE IPA. In fact, not very hoppy at all.
At first I was slightly unimpressed by it, but by the end of the bottle the citrus/lemon flavor had really built up into something quite nice.
A different than usual beer for sure and not for everyone.
But I dig.

codenamefarts asked: Try the pumking with a brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg rimmed glass.
Somehow I just saw thins, but that sounds amazing.

Zombie Dust by Three Floyds. Fantastic. Hoppy. Citrus-y. Awesome.
I don’t know if I’m going to keep doing this blog but definitely check this stuff out I’d you have the chance.

A better photo of theĀ De Molen Hel & Verdoemenis (Hell & Damnation)

Sorry about the bad photo quality. The bar was very dimly lit. Hopefully they will be better next time!

De Ranke XX Bitter.
Bitter bitter bitter! Good and hoppy. Not as floral as the Southern Tier 2XIPA.
Final thoughts: good (and bitter!)

De Molen Hel & Verdoemenis (Hell & Damnation)
Yes. It earns it’s name. Black like The Nothing. Smells like alcohol and at 11.9% ABV, well, yeah.
A very very STRONG beer. But it has a nice coffee finish. If you can deal with the alcohol content.
No head. Too strong. Pours like molasses.
Final thought: Good.
Sorry for the bad picture. It is literally THAT BLACK.

Might as well start off with a bang.
Southern Tier Imperial Pumpking Ale.
Smell: Like a pumpkin spice candle. No beery smell at all. It smells like fall.
Taste: It took me a second to get the pumpkin flavor but once I did, WOW. Very similar to a pumpkin spice muffin. a nice, subtle pumpkin flavor with the spice finishing it out.
Final verdict: Awesome. I will definitely be getting more of this.
