I’ve decided to start reviewing all the wonderful beers that I have the opportunity to sample. Hopefully you like what I have to say. I am no expert so these will be written in more simple terms, but I will do my best. Okay. </p> <p>Not quite as hoppy as one would expect from a DOUBLE IPA. It earns it’s name. Black like The Nothing. Smells like alcohol and at 11.9% ABV, well, yeah. </p> <p>A very very STRONG beer. But it has a nice coffee finish. If you can deal with the alcohol content. </p> <p>No head. Too strong. Pours like molasses. </p> <p>Final thought: Good. </p> <p>Sorry for the bad picture. No beery smell at all. It smells like fall.</p> <p>Taste: It took me a second to get the pumpkin flavor but once I did, WOW. Very similar to a pumpkin spice muffin. a nice, subtle pumpkin flavor with the spice finishing it out.</p> <p>Final verdict: Awesome.
